Great value for the price! Comfortable and good size bed and great breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, don’t expect a 5* place, this is comfortable and very functional. Staff also very friendly, which is always a great bonus! Our pup was with us and a charge of 4 EUR which is fair.

We usually stay in another B&B hotel in Calais but that one was fully booked when we phoned them so suggested this one as an alternative which they booked for us and as one of us has mobility problems we asked for a ground floor room as usual. When we arrived the automated check in system did not recognise our reference number so had to contact their central office to get the room number and access code. Then we found we had been given a room on the second floor, fortunately there was a lift, otherwise this would have been a major issue. The room was OK, to normal standard, and we slept OK. We had booked breakfast and that was the usual spread, but the bacon and scrambled eggs were not hot, so we had to use the microwave to warm them up. Won't be in a rush to use this hotel again, prefer our usual one.

This would be a 5* review if residents were stopped from smoking on the fire escapes at the end of the corridors. This results in the corridors smelling badly of cigarette smoke. Also fairly noisy with the fire doors opening and closing constantly. Fire escapes are simply that and not smoking areas. On the positive side this hotel is very clean with comfortable beds. The little bathroom has a good shower. The staff were very polite and helpful both at check in and check out. The car parking is free and secure which is a massive benefit when travelling with a car full of personal belongings. Stop the smoking on the fire escapes and you will change the poor reviews.

Lovely church marred by an unbelievable amount of dog poo up the avenue of trees either side.No dog poo bins anywhere?? Also I parked my uk registered car overnight in the car park there as advised and it was plucked from a row of French registered cars and impounded for parking. Half a day later and 140 euros lighter I got it back. I met some lovely people around Calais ,but that wouldn't include anybody in a costume,(uniform) Obviously anti UK sentiment in Calais so I will not stop there again.

We needed a hotel close to the motorway, not too expensive for an overnight stop and this fitted the bill perfectly. The hotel had ample parking and as we arrived late used the self service check in. The room was of a good size and clean. Breakfast was included with out booking, it had a nice choice and the member of staff checked we had everything we needed. Excellent value.

Only problem was we were charged again for the booking when using the automatic check in. Now trying to get the money back.
